Bell Acres Borough Implementable Comprehensive Plan
Bell Acres Borough, PA
Bell Acres, a small borough with 1,500 residents, sought an Implementable Comprehensive Plan that would be realistic and match its staff and financial capacity. For this project, Pashek+MTR supported a steering committee that managed its own public engagement process, and guided the process of selecting three Key Issues that would be the focus of the plan: Enhancing Greenspace and Trails, Improving Borough Communications and Addressing Infrastructure Needs.
The planning process was deliberately stretched over a few budget years so that funding would be more feasible for the borough. Pashek+MTR helped community volunteers raise their profile of involvement to assist with ongoing implementation.
